From a young age, Jessie Sanchez and Michael Cerda were captivated by the world of film. Influenced by iconic shows like Ren and Stimpy, Monty Python, SNL, and South Park, they spent their childhood creating short films and dreaming of sharing their work with others. Their personalities were shaped not only by these creative influences but also by the warmth, humor, and wisdom of their grandfather, Francisco Sanchez, affectionately known as Don Pancho.
 

As they grew older, Jessie and Michael honed their skills as filmmakers, producing short comedies that earned accolades at local film festivals. Their passion for storytelling and visual art only deepened, leading them to found Don Pancho Films—a tribute to their abuelo, who instilled in them the values of dedication, laughter, and artistic vision.
